For the second consecutive year, Lebanon Valley College is listed as #1 in Pennsylvania in Zippia's "Best College in Each State for Getting a Job." The job placement rate for LVC graduates is 95.63%, positioning Lebanon Valley College fourth among all colleges and universities in the United States. The listings are based on the College Scorecard Data, which analyzed job placement ratings for students entering college in 2009.

Campus/Location: 53 buildings on more than 370 acres in Annville, Pa., a town of 5,000, eight miles from Hershey.

Students: 1,651 full-time undergraduates.

Freshman Class Profile: 473 students with an average SAT score of 1152 (SAT submission is optional for most majors).

Faculty: 122 full-time faculty members, 86 percent of whom hold Ph.Ds or terminal degrees in their field; a student-faculty ratio of 10:1 and average class size of 20.

Academic Programs: Undergraduate majors in Arts & Humanities; Business & Communications; Education; Health Professions; Math, Science, & Technology; and Social Sciences & Psychology, as well as self-designed majors and numerous minors, concentrations, and tracks. We also offer graduate and/or online programs in accounting/MBA, athletic training, business administration, music education, physical therapy, STEM education, and speech-language pathology, pending approval of candidacy status from the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. There are also options to obtain certificates in integrative STEM education and modern band, as well as ACT 48 continuing education credits for educators.

Study Abroad: Programs in eight countries: China, England, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, and Spain, as well as several short-term programs. 

Off-campus Programs: Study/internship semesters in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.

Career Development: A full range of guidance and support is provided starting in your first year through our experts in the Edward and Lynn Breen Center for Graduate Success.

Internships: Available in every major—in Annville, Hershey, Harrisburg, and beyond.

Student Life: More than 90 organizations, including music and theater groups, the student newspaper, sororities and fraternities; and club and student-run organizations of almost any kind, including pre-professional, political, athletic, recreational, religious, language-focused, and service-related groups. More than 80% of students are involved in athletics or the performing arts.

Residential Life: 27 residence halls of various styles; housing guaranteed for all four undergraduate years.

Athletics: A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), and National Association of Collegiate Esports. The College offers 13 women’s, 12 men’s, and one co-ed varsity athletic programs.

After LVC: Lebanon Valley College was listed #4 among all U.S. colleges and universities and #1 in Pennsylvania, with a 95.63% placement rate for 2019. The listings are based on the College Scorecard Data, which analyzed job placement ratings at year ten after students have graduated.
