In an effort to articulate more clearly the value, expectations, and requirements of institutional assessment, the Institutional Effectiveness Plan was approved by the College's senior leadership to guide assessment processes on campus. The Institutional Effectiveness Plan provides direction related to five key areas of institutional effectiveness: annual reports, planning and resource allocations, institutional resources and data, dissemination of institutional data, and institutional compliance with federal regulations.
The Institutional Effectiveness Plan is monitored by the Institutional Effectiveness Committee (IEC), and an annual report is presented to the College President which summarizes the IEC's review of institutional assessment practices and makes recommendations for continuous improvement.
