Experienced Instructors

"I aspire to obtain an MBA because I want to pursue another career after I retire from the military. I specifically want an MBA from LVC because I want to become a college professor. The MBA program keeps me up-to-date with the latest business trends, theories, and best practices and supplements my own personal research. I also wanted to address some of the areas in an MBA I wasn’t as familiar with, such as Management Information Systems.

I could not be happier with the level of experience LVC instructors possess in the MBA program. I have had instructors working for the following companies in my first 9 classes: economist for GE, Spokesperson for the PA Department of Agriculture, consultant from Deliotte, management information systems manager from AT&T, international business manager from Philadelphia Mixing Solutions, along with instructors from other great companies from the area. They have all been open and willing to share their firsthand experience working in some of the biggest, most technologically advanced, and profitable companies imaginable."

—LVC MBA Student Matthew Schreckengost, Sergeant First Class, U.S. Army National Guard, PA Army National Guard

Valuable Professional Relationships

"I wanted to receive business-related content and skills at a deeper, extended level, one that offered both real-world and theoretical knowledge of how effective businesses and organizations operate. I chose LVC because the MBA program offered several business leadership-related courses that integrated educational leadership components. In addition, LVC maintains a reputation for having professors with strong professional and educational qualifications and experiences relative to business administration—and who are personable and engaging.

"The LVC MBA program will undoubtedly challenge and enrich your professional growth. Beyond the in-depth learning about topics such as project management, strategic leadership, and marketing, I also gained valuable professional relationships with leaders from the business field who were in my program. I was able to develop and expand my professional network.

"I found the flexibility within the time frame of the courses offerings, as well as the ability to take courses off campus, to be highly beneficial. For example, some of the courses were held at the Lancaster Lebanon Intermediate Unit campus, which helped with the balancing of my work schedule with the MBA schedule. Also, I did have some flexibility taking courses outside of the typical sequence, which helped the MBA program align with my work schedule."

—Dr. Robin Felty, M'14, Superintendent, Manheim Township School District
