Career options include personal trainer, corporate or fitness/wellness expert, clinical exercise specialist, clinical exercise physiologist, strength and conditioning coach, or graduate student/researcher. As the healthcare field shifts its focus from treatment to a preventative approach, exercise science graduates will be in demand in the new healthcare marketplace.

The employment outlook from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Handbook for graduates of an exercise science program indicates a 19 percent increase for the next decade. In addition, the College’s track record in physical therapy bodes well for exercise science.
