The market for interpreters and translators is projected to grow 29 percent through 2024. Similarly, job growth for international management analysts is expected to be 17 percent through 2024. Both rates are much faster job growth rates than the average for all occupations, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

International business majors learn how to think globally regarding the business world. Program graduates may manage imports and exports in multinational corporations, translate for businesses, travel abroad to facilitate business deals, or prepare employees for international travel and business dealings. They can also study and implement ethical behavior and standards, practice cultural sensitivity in business, or represent a company internationally as a sales representative or consultant.
