Tito Valdes, Esq., ’14 dreamt of being a lawyer from the time he was eight years old, and LVC helped him to make that dream a reality.
Our graduates have found jobs with government agencies, international organizations, and policy-related groups, and have gone on to some of the nation’s finest law schools and graduate programs. Notably, Pennsylvania’s 46th Governor is an LVC politics graduate.
Graduates from the past five classes are attending graduate or law school at George Washington University (international education; policy analysis and evaluation), American University (international affairs), University of Baltimore (law), Widener University School of Law (law; environmental law), Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law (law), Drexel University (politics and international studies), and the University of San Francisco (international studies). Others are employed as a research associate (The Fairness Center), Dauphin County Coordinator (U.S. House of Representatives, Washington, D.C.), program associate (The Fund for American Studies, Washington, D.C.), executive director (York Ballet).
Logan Stover '19, a politics major, discovered a career path that combined his two passions—politics and law. He is now a legislative coordinator and lobbyist at the Pennsylvania Bar Association in Harrisburg.
Bill Rice ’06 entered LVC not overly interested in politics. Now, 13 years later, he’s volunteering with international human rights groups, attending Georgetown University Law school, and planning a career in public interest law.
Olivia Edwards talks about how LVC developed her skills and provided her opportunities to enhance her career marketability.
Internships, time abroad, and other opportunities have led Dylan Reed ’13 to a successful career in public policy.
