Dr. Jared Pitt ’08 was just eight years old when he got his first hands-on experience with veterinary medicine.
Recent graduates have been accepted to prestigious medical and health professions schools throughout the United States. In the past few years, they pursued degrees at the Drexel University College of Medicine, the Medical University of South Carolina, West Virginia University Medical School, Penn State College of Medicine, Temple University School of Pharmacy, the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, University of the Sciences, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Pennsylvania College of Osteopathic Medicine, Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, The Commonwealth Medical College, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Rutgers University, and North Carolina State University, among others.
A connection made during freshman year resulted in two Lebanon Valley College graduates practicing dentistry together at Cleona Dental, fewer than 10 minutes from campus.
Drue Bahajak, O.D., ’12 knew she was going to be a doctor, but figuring out what type of doctor proved harder than she thought.
Dr. Nic Shirey '11 is a dentist serving active military members in Norfolk, Va. He attended the University of Pittsburgh for dental school on a Navy Health Professions Scholarship.
After graduating from LVC, Kayla Miller attends the University of Wisconsin, whose veterinary medicine program is ranked among the top five in the nation.
