Do you have an application fee?

No, the application is free.

Will you evaluate a transcript prior to formal application?

Yes (unofficial only).

What are the housing options?

On-campus housing is offered to transfer students, but off-campus housing is not.

Must SAT or ACT scores be submitted by transfer students?

No, they are optional.

Must a high school transcript or G.E.D. be submitted?

Yes, unless you have earned an associate degree.

What is the minimum number of credits required for transfer?

There is no minimum requirement.

What is the maximum number of credits accepted from a 2-year college?

A total of 60 credits will be accepted for an associate degree. A maximum of 90 credit hours will be accepted toward a baccalaureate degree. A minimum of 30 of the last 36 credits must be taken at LVC.

What is the minimum GPA (on a 4.0 scale) for acceptance?

Students with a 2.0 can be reviewed and considered for admission to the College, but a 2.5 GPA is the preferred GPA minimum.

Are any programs closed to transfer students?

Yes, the Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Master's in Athletic Training, and Master's in Speech-Language Pathology programs are not available to transfers.

Does your college offer any majors that can be completed in the evening?

There are no full-time programs that can be completed in the evening.

Is foreign language required for Baccalaureate degree?

Yes.

Is a "D" transferable?

It is not transferable with or without a degree.

Is an Associate degree required? Preferred?

An associate degree is not required or preferred.

Do you accept the Associate Degree or evaluate each course?

Each course will be evaluated, but the overall degree is accepted.

Can International Students transfer to LVC?

Yes, international transfer students are welcome at LVC. Please view international student admission requirements for more information.
