180 Medical Scholarship

Eligibility: Students enrolled in college full-time in the upcoming academic year, and under a physician's care for a spinal cord injury, transverse myelitis, spina bifida or neurogenic bladder.

Amount: $1,000

Anne Ford Scholarship

Eligibility: High school seniors with a documented learning disability who will be enrolled in college full-time in the upcoming academic year; 3.0 GPA minimum required.

Amount: $10,000 ($2,500/year for four years)

Avacare Medical Scholarship

Eligibility: High school senior or enrolled in an accredited university with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Must be pursuing a degree in the medical field, and preference is given to students with a disability themselves. 

Amount: $1000

"Business Plan" Scholarship

Eligibility: Any student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university who has a documented disability. 

Amount: $2,500

Deadline: November 15 and April 15 annually

Eric Dostie Memorial College Scholarship

Eligibility: College students with hemophilia or a related bleeding disorder.

Amount: $1,000 (ten awards given)

Application Deadline: They will begin accepting applications for the 2020 scholarship in November 2019. Deadline TBD.

Karman Healthcare Scholarship Fund

Eligibility: College students with a mobility disability who use a wheelchair, or other mobility devices on a regular basis; 2.5 GPA minimum required.

Amount: $500

Application Deadline: September 1, 2019

National Federation of the Blind Scholarship Program

Eligibility: High school seniors and current college students planning to enroll full-time at a US post-secondary institution that is legally blind in both eyes.

Amount: $3,000–$12,000 (up to thirty awards given)

Application Deadline: For the 2020 awards, application materials will be available on November 1, 2019.

National Federation of the Blind of Pennsylvania Scholarship

Eligibility: Any blind or visually impaired person who will be a full-time student during the upcoming academic year and who is a resident of Pennsylvania.

Amount: $1,000 (two scholarships awarded)

Application Deadline: August 31

Organization for Autism Research Scholarship Program

Eligibility: Students who are planning to pursue a full-time, post-secondary undergraduate education at an accredited US institution that has had an autism spectrum diagnosis.

Amount: $3,000
