American Indian Studies Club

The club is for charitable, social, educational, and cultural purposes. As a club, it strives to provide better communication among American Indian students, American Indian communities, the LVC community, and the broader public.

 

Anime Society

The Anime Society is an organization dedicated to promoting Anime (Japanese animation), which is known throughout the world for both its thematic and technical sophistication. Its primary activity is hosting showings of various Anime series and films for the relaxation and socialization of the campus community.

 

Asian Culture Club

The Asian Culture Club is a student organization whose purpose is to promote Asian culture from a national and global perspective. Every year, the organization sponsors a series of films, events, dances, music, food, and other campus activities. The organization also attends a national student conference on Asian culture.

 

Black Student Union

The BSU recognizes the many aspects of college that influence Black students' lives and aims to create a social atmosphere that is accepting of all views. BSU's goal is to create a united community. Additionally, the Black Student Union prides itself on building an inclusive environment for ALL students to become active members and participants.

 

College Conservatives

Open to all members of the student body, the College Conservatives promote conservative values and encourage interest in the governmental process. Activities include bringing conservative speakers to campus, encouraging values on campus, and participation in the campaigns and elections of various candidates.

 

College Democrats

Formed to encourage and support the ideals of the Democratic Party, College Democrats is open to any student interested in politics who wants to become involved with party activities.

 

Commuter Club

LVC’s Commuter Club was established to better the on-campus experiences of commuting students through activities and events such as trips, parties, fundraisers, and community service activities, as well as the discussion of issues and ideas that are important to commuting students. It is our goal that commuters become better integrated into regular campus life. Membership is open to all students. Members are expected to pay yearly dues and participate in a reasonable amount of fundraising and community service activities. 

 

Environmental Club

Environmental Club looks to establish environmental sustainability initiatives among LVC students. Environmental Club hosts speakers, organizes trips, and conducts student projects to inform its club members as well as other students about environmental issues.

 

Feminist Collective

This club strives to integrate the study and practice of an inclusive feminism, one which recognizes the intersectionality of how race, ethnicity, sex, gender identity and expression, religion, class, sexuality, nationality, ability, and other identity markers inform our experiences. The Collective intends to progressively educate the campus community by challenging the patriarchal prescriptions of our society as well as to provide a safe space for its membership.

 

Freedom Rings

Freedom Rings is the student organization committed to fostering understanding about issues affecting the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individual. Membership is open to all people committed to this mission, including heterosexual allies.

 

Global Education Club

This is a group of students dedicated to increasing curiosity and awareness about the world. The group consists of international, study abroad, and internationally-experienced students, or those who are just interested in learning more. The club meets bi-weekly and helps to organize Global Coffee Hours, International Education Week, Moon Festivals, Lunar New Year, the International Food Festival, and more! Please join the group at its next Global Coffee Hour for coffee, culture, and conversation.

 

Hispanic Alliance

Hispanic Alliance’s purpose is to raise awareness about historical, political, social, economic, and educational issues concerning the Latino and Hispanic populations in the United States. The organization sponsors a variety of events including Noche Caribena, in addition to workshops and co-sponsoring events during Hispanic Heritage Celebration.

 

Indoor Color Guard

This organization teaches and helps its members to improve color guard skills and hopes to perform at events. All students are welcome to join. Members meet and practice weekly.

 

Martial Arts Club

An open-minded society striving to incorporate the principles and techniques of varying martial arts. The group's aim is to spread the wealth of knowledge that members bring with them to the club while providing an outlet for students to form bonds with fellow members.

 

Seniors Helping Seniors

This special interest group is open to all students despite its name. Seniors Helping Seniors is a group of LVC students who aim to positively impact the lives of the elderly in the surrounding community by planning fun events and activities that stimulate them physically and cognitively. Student Programming Board (SPB)

The Student Programming Board plans many exciting events throughout the year. Top-notch performers such as comedians, hypnotists, illusionists, and more hit the stage nearly every Friday night. The Underground Dance comes alive with more than 200 students every Saturday beginning at midnight. They plan multiple nights of entertainment right on campus. We also offer a Coffeehouse Series at MJ's located in downtown Annville. A different performer, including some LVC students, appears on the first Wednesday of each month. SPB also offers bus trips throughout the semester to nearby attractions and events.

 

Swing Dance Club

The Swing Dance Club is a student-run organization meant to promote interest and educate students in forms of dance from the earlier 1900's, including but not limited to East Coast Swing, Charleston, Collegiate Shag, and Lindy Hop. In addition to the dance steps, members also learn about musicality and visit several of the local dance venues. The SDC holds one social dance per semester open to campus. Vale Music Group

Vale Music Group is an umbrella company consisting of four sub brands: Vale Records, Vale Music Industry Conference, Vale Live, and Vale Publishing. These student-run organizations are available to anyone interested in gaining experience in the music industry, marketing, videography, event planning, public relations, music recording, production, finance, sales, and design. Each brand is expansive and gives students the ability to use their talents in multiple different ways in a fast-paced environment. Learn more.

 

ValleyFest

ValleyFest is the Lebanon Valley’s annual spring arts festival, hosted by Lebanon Valley College. ValleyFest is almost completely student-run and planned, with the process beginning at the start of each academic year. There is sure to be something for everyone!

 

Women's Services and Gender Resource Center (WSGRC)

The Women's Services and Gender Resources Center recognizes that college-aged women face more than just academic issues, but issues of an emotional, developmental, spiritual, and physical nature. The goal of the center is to provide a place where all genders are informed, healthy, empowered, and safe by providing a supportive atmosphere that advocates for the elimination of inequities based on gender.
