Arnold Grants to Fund Three Unique Educational Opportunities

Lebanon Valley College recently announced three students will experience unique educational opportunities next spring, including shadowing physicians in Spain, learning music publishing, and developing business and human resources skills. Each of these immersive internship experiences is made possible through funding from the Edward H. Arnold and Jeanne Donlevy Arnold Grant Program.

In addition to these experiential grants, which encourage students to take advantage of unique internship opportunities, the Arnold Grant Program will fund additional grants to be awarded in the spring designed to stimulate independent and student-faculty collaborative research in diverse disciplines.

The following students received an Arnold Grant for the Spring 2017 semester.

Jordan Caprioli ’17, a business administration major, will intern at the Philadelphia Center with a recruiting firm. Through this internship, she will develop knowledge, skills, and networks in the area of human resources, leadership, and employee compensation and benefits.  

Music business major Victoria Cecchi ’17 will intern at Borcage Music Publishing, LLC in Cherry Hill, N.J.  She will work directly with Dr. Louis Anthony deLise, promoting his music, marketing products, and archiving manuscripts. By assisting at various music events, Cecchi will meet and network with other professionals in the industry.

Elizabeth O’Connor ’17, a biology major, will travel to Guadalajara, Spain, to participate in the Atlantis Project, an immersion experience in healthcare and medicine. As she shadows physicians, she will expand her knowledge about medical practices in another culture.
