LVC Welcomed into CFA Institute University Affiliation Program

Lebanon Valley College has been welcomed into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program. The affiliation recognizes LVC’s Analytical Finance Program as positioning students well to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, the most respected and recognized investment credential in the world. 

The Analytical Finance Program, which is part of LVC’s Department of Mathematical Sciences, teaches its students to respond quickly to industry change, learn new subjects, and become adept at modeling, analysis, communication, and sophisticated mathematical tools. Students learn to extract technical information, master it, and then explain it—skills that give them an edge in their job search and career.

The CFA Institute recognized LVC’s Analytical Finance Program as incorporating the majority of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge and placing emphasis on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. Entry into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program signals to potential students, employers, and the marketplace that Lebanon Valley College’s curriculum is closely tied to professional practice and is well-suited to prepare students to sit for the CFA examinations.
