VALE Music Group is proud to announce their new artist November Lounge, comprised of three Lebanon Valley College students. Every year the College’s student-run record label signs a new student artist or band.
November Lounge is an alternative rock/jazz group made up of three artists, Aaron Abercrombie ’17, Alex Rubin ’17, and Zach Washko ’18. The band formed in November 2015. The story behind this band is short and sweet. Three music majors got together to start a band. Their name originated from their first event where they played in November in a lounge. Since then the band has been called “November Lounge.”
Abercrombie is the guitarist and lead singer of the band. His love for music began at the age of five and he has since developed a deep love for writing music.
Rubin, the drummer, is the heart of the band. As an audio & music production major, he has had a wide variety of exposure to music. His musical tastes vary between genres, which helps him to be more disciplined as a drummer.
Washko, the bass player, also studies audio & music production, along with music with a jazz concentration, which is very fitting for the band. He has played music since second grade when he picked up his favorite instrument, the saxophone. Some primary musical influences on Washko’s career have been reggae and jam band.
As is tradition for new VALE artists, November Lounge will take the stage at ValleyFest Saturday, April 23 as an opening act for Jon Bellion. VALE music group will also release November Lounge’s new EP during ValleyFest weekend.
