Assistant Professor of Exercise Science (August 2020)

The Lebanon Valley College Department of Exercise Science seeks an assistant professor for the growing exercise science department. This is a full-time, nine-month position. Primary responsibilities include teaching in the undergraduate exercise science curriculum and maintaining an active research agenda in exercise science. Other teaching opportunities may be available in one of the new masters of exercise science degree programs, based on experience and expertise. Qualifications include a doctoral degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or a closely-related field and teaching experience in an exercise science curriculum, biomechanics preferred. Assistant Professor of Education (3-year renewable contract, August 2020)

Lebanon Valley College invites applications for a 3-year renewable contract for an assistant professor of education beginning August 2020.  Responsibilities include teaching courses in special education and early childhood education.  Qualifications include private or public school experience in special education PreK-12+ and/or early childhood education PreK-4., Ph.D. or Ed.D. preferred.  Additional expertise in one or more of the following areas is desired: foundations of education (theory), assessment, behavior, academic interventions, student teacher supervision.  The successful candidate will also be expected to provide academic advising and service to the department.  Interested applicants should email a cover letter, vitae, teaching philosophy statement and three recent letters of recommendation, including contact information of the recommending parties to assistant professor of education (3 year renewable contract).  The position will remain posted until filled.  Salary and rank are commensurate with educational credential, licenses, certification and experience.
