Advocacy and Awareness

Our outreach to various segments of our community takes the guise of many forms. Beyond providing advocacy and support to underrepresented students and student groups, we serve as a referral agent–referring students to other offices and departments when necessary, and act as an informational resource for all offices and departments within the College regarding multicultural issues.

Academic and Personal Support

We provide one-on-one support for students to ensure their academic and personal success. Students can receive support services with regard to mentoring, advisement, time and financial management, and study skills.

Trainings and Workshops

The office provides diversity training and consultation to students, offices within Student Affairs and other administrative units. These training sessions are designed to increase the participant’s ability to understand and respect cultural differences.
